YardHop

Terms of use

Last updated: October 19, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and YardHop ("we", "us") about using the YardHop app and website. By creating an account or using YardHop, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use YardHop.

1. Who can use YardHop

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to create an account, post sales or make purchases. You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for what happens in your account.

2. What YardHop does

YardHop helps people find and post garage and yard sales. We are not a party to any sale. We don't own, inspect, price or guarantee the items, and we don't handle payments between buyers and sellers. Any deal is only between the buyer and the seller.

3. Posting a sale

4. Reports and removal

Anyone can report a sale. Sales reported by several people are hidden automatically. We may hide or remove any sale, and suspend or close any account, that breaks these terms or puts people at risk, with or without notice.

5. YardHop Pro and highlights

6. Ads

The free plan shows ads from Google AdMob. Ads are provided by third parties; we don't endorse the products advertised.

7. Be safe

Meet in safe, public-facing places when possible, check items before you pay, and follow local rules for garage sales (some towns require permits or limit signs). Use YardHop's directions and information at your own judgment.

8. Disclaimer

YardHop is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it accurate and running, but we don't promise that it will always be available, error-free, or that every listing is accurate, safe or still happening.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, YardHop is not liable for any indirect or incidental losses, or for anything that happens between buyers and sellers (including items, payments, injuries or property damage). Our total liability for any claim related to YardHop is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

10. Closing your account

You can delete your account anytime in the app (Account → Delete account) or by following these steps. Deleting your account removes your profile and your sales.

11. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top. For important changes, we'll tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use YardHop after that means you accept the new terms.

12. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer laws of the place where you live.
